Regime forces continue to control areas in Aleppo and Idlib increasing number of controlled areas to 103 since the ground operation started

Heavy aerial bombardment continues on areas in Sarmin and Saraqib amid intensive ground shelling in an attempt by the regime forces to advance and control them, while violent clashes continue south and west of Aleppo between the factions and Jihadis and between the regime forces and loyalists, accompanied by exchange of targeting.

The Syrian Observatory monitored the regime taking control of more areas east of Idlib and south of Aleppo, where it rose to 10, the number of areas they advanced to today Tuesday, namely: Islamin, al-Rasafa, Abu al-Khasha, Glas, Sheikh Mansour, Tal Tokan village in which there is a Turkish point east of Saraqib, and Talafeh, Zammar, Osmaniyyah Kabira, and Jazraya south of Aleppo city.

The number of areas that have been captured by regime forces, since Friday evening 24th of this month, rose to 90, (Telmans, Ma’ar Shmasha, Dier Sharqi, Dier Gharbi, Ma’arshamarin, Ma’rata, Al-Ghadfa, Marshourin, Al-Za’alana, Al-Dana, Tal Al-Sheikh, Sawami’e, Khirbet Mzayan, Masaran, Bsida and Taqana, Babolin, Kafr Bassin, Ma’arhatat, Hamidia, Dar es Salaam, Salhiya, Kafruma, Ma’rat al-Numan, Wadi Al-Dayif, Hantotin, al-Jarada, Ruwayha, Qahiriya, Ain Halban, Tal al-Dibis, Khan al-Sobul and Ma’ardabsi, Tal Mardikh, Jobas, Hertamia, Qamhana, Abu-Jreif, Tal Khatra, Tal Mastif, Al Kana’yes, Karsian, Hish, Kafrmazda, Jabala, Mouqa, Amoudia, Armanya, Kafrbatikh, Dadikh, Luf, Anqrati, Jobas, Sinan, Zakar, Tarnaba, Al Nayrab, Mardikh, Tal Mardikh, Kaddor and Ruwayha, the abandoned battalion, Al balaysa, Al-wasta, Kuweires, Tal Al-Aghar, Al-Mushirfa, Tawil Al Halib, Al Raqim, Jdaydet Al Khatra, Barissa, Al Hamamat, Tal Al-Sultan, Um Sharshouh, Al-Khashakish, Tal Ibrahim, Jabal al-Taweel, Sheikh Idris, Baja’as, Al Rayyan, Tal al-Rumman, Masa’ada, Ras al-Ain, Shoha, Kafar Amim, Tal Rihan, Islamin, Abu al-Khasha, Tal al-Toqan, Glas, and al-Sheikh Mansour.)

In Aleppo, regime forces captured at least 13 areas during the same period, (Khan Touman, the warehouses of Khan Touman, Khalidiya, Rajem, Tulul Hazmar, Khirbet Kharas, Tal Al Zaytoun, Al-Rashidya al-Khamessa, Ma’arata, Zamar, Jazraya, Othmaniyeh Kabira, and Talafeh), as well as other sites, points and hills in western and southern rural Aleppo.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of 10 members of the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, in targeting and clashes against the factions and the jihadis in the southern and western countryside of Aleppo, also 14 fighters were killed including 10 of the Jihadi factions were killed in Russian areal shelling and clashes today.

Observatory activists also documented gross human losses in the ranks of both warring forces who have been killed in bombardment and fierce clashes since the evening of the 24th of January, they are 288 jihadis among 397 opposition fighters were killed so far, in addition to the killing of 357 of the regime soldiers and loyalists including 10 of the Iran-loyal militias.
