Destroying graves, desecrating tombs, and burning houses… Regime loyalists start abusing the oppositionists in the newly controlled areas

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored several violations carried out by the regime forces and loyalists after the regime forces backed by their Shabiha and loyalists took control of Idlib countryside’s towns.

According to information and videos obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, some of these Shabiha have broken graves, exhumed tombs, and insulted the remains of the martyrs who were against them, without any regard to humanitarian rules or to the differences between them.

According to what the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored, several regime loyalists appeared in a video bragging about desecrating cemeteries and destroying tombstones.

Over the past few days, regime loyalists have continued to criticize the oppositionists, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored one of the loyalists burning his an uncle’s house in Maarrat al-Nu’man after the regime forces took control of it, arguing that he opposed the regime.
