Crew of regime helicopter found dead after being downed east of Idlib

Reliable SOHR sources confirmed the death of all crew members of the regime helicopter which was shot down in the eastern countryside of Idlib. Two bodies were found completely burnt after the helicopter had been targeted while flying over in Qumaynas – Al-Nayrab area.

 

SOHR sources reported earlier that a helicopter affiliated to the Syrian regime was shot down after being targeted in Qumaynas – Al-Nayrab area in the north-eastern countryside of Idlib. Flames were seen coming out of the helicopter while falling.

 

No information has been received yet on whether the helicopter was targeted by factions or by Turkish forces stationed there.

 

On the 14th of August 2019, a Syrian regime jet was shot down on frontlines of Tar’ei – Sukayk in the southern countryside of Idlib after being targeted by the factions. The pilot was captured at that time by HTS members.

 

The Syrian Observatory reported then that a regime Sukhoi fighter was shot down in the southern countryside of Idlib on frontlines of Tar’ei – Sukayk, and that the pilot was captured by jihadist groups down in the southern countryside of Idlib, after being found in the area between Al-Taman’a and Ta’ara, south of Idlib.
