Turkish forces deploy in Al-Jina town as Russian jets pound areas in west Aleppo countryside

SOHR sources report that heavily armed Turkish forces, with rocket launchers, tanks and heavy vehicles, deployed in Al-Jina town in western rural Aleppo. While Russian jets carried out several airstrikes targeting near 46th regiment, where Turkish forces stationed at, and Kafrnaha and Abyan Sama’an in western rural Aleppo.

Yesterday, the Syrian Observatory reported that a new Turkish column entered via Kafr Losin crossing towards “de-escalation” zone. The total number of vehicles that entered the “de-escalation” zone has reached over 200 vehicles, carrying military, logistical equipment and tanks.

Furthermore, Observatory sources added that the Turkish army set up a new military post on “Al-Jina-Atareb” road in western rural Aleppo.

From February 2 to date, the Syrian Observatory reported that over 1,650 Turkish trucks and military vehicles arrived in Syrian territory, carrying tanks, personnel carriers, armored vehicles, mobile bulletproof guard booths and military radars, while some 6,500 Turkish soldiers deployed in Idlib and Aleppo during this period.
