As Turkey shell the area, clashes renew between Kurdish forces and Turkish-backed factions in the northern countryside of Aleppo

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the clashes renewed today using heavy and medium weapons, between the Turkish-backed factions and the Kurdish forces, in al-Daghalbash area west of al-Bab city in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, but no information about casualties so far.

In the same context, the Turkish forces and their loyal factions shelled the villages of Mar’anaz, Malkiyyeh, and Shawargha in the Sharan Township of Afrin, and the villages of Samouqa, Sadd Shahba, and Sheikh Issa.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored violent clashes after midnight of yesterday between the Kurdish forces and factions of the Turkey-loyal al-Jaysh al-Watani, in Kafrkalbin village in the northern countryside of Aleppo, which killed 3 members of al-Jaysh al-Watani and injured 5 others, in conjunction with shelling from the Turkish artillery targeted the areas in which the Kurdish forces and the regime forces are deployed at Menagh Airbase and around Tal Rifaat north of Aleppo.
