Clashes renew between Turkish-backed factions and SDF in east Euphrates

Syrian Observatory sources reported that Turkish forces and their Syrian proxies targeted Tawila and Tal Tawil villages of Tal Tamr town with artillery. Meanwhile, Turkish-backed factions shelled Al-Khalediyah village and the vicinity of Ain Issa camp along with the overflight of a Turkish drone over the area.

In connection to this, Turkish troops fired three light bombs on Um Waratha village, north of Manbij city.

SOHR sources reported yesterday that Turkish artillery shelling renewed on Dada Abdal, Harmaleh, Rbay’aat, and other areas in the countryside of Abu Rasin, Om al-Kief and Tal Tamr, following advancement attempts and clashes in the areas between Turkish-backed factions and the Syriac Military Council hours after cessation of shelling in these areas.

SOHR activists documented the killing of seven Turkish-backed fighters in an attack by SDF last night on Sherkirak Silos and surrounding areas in Al-Raqqah countryside. Two other fighters were captured in the attack.

Activists also documented the killing of nine Turkish-backed fighters in fierce clashes last night between Turkish-backed factions and SDF in Tal Tamr countryside. Clashes erupted at midnight and lasted for hours in the villages of Aliya, Lilan, al-Arish, Tal Owaish, Qasimiyah, and Om Eshbeh.

Turkish-backed factions targeted Aliya Silos south of Ras al-Ayn in Hasakah countryside with artillery in the early hours of Thursday morning. The shelling coincided with fierce clashes on frontlines in Tal Tamr.
