Over 400,000 civilians forced to flee their areas in 21 days as regime and Russia continue military operations in Aleppo

Tens of thousands of families fled towns surrounding Aleppo city in the past hours and days along with ongoing military operations that enabled regime forces to capture 32 villages and towns in Aleppo countryside.

As mass displacement continues, SOHR activists documented the displacement of more than 410,000 Syrian civilians in Idlib since the start of ground offensive on the 24th of January 2020. Since mid January, the number of displaced civilians in both Idlib and Aleppo has risen to 620.

The aerial and ground military operations have forced nearly 100,5000 Syrian civilians to flee their areas in both Idlib and Aleppo since early December 2019.
