Regime security services discover mass grave for civilians and regime soldiers, southeast of Douma in eastern Ghouta

Reliable source informed SOHR that soldiers of regime forces found a mass grave of civilians and military personnel killed by opposition factions in the area of “Al-A’ab farms” southeast of Douma city in eastern Ghouta.

Observatory sources added that the mass grave contains the bodies of civilians and military personnel, including a woman, all handcuffed, and were executed by Jaysh Al-Islam during its control over Douma in the last years, including civilians from Adra area who were abducted by Jaysh Al-Islam fighters in early 2014, as well as bodies of unidentified persons were found in the mass grave, which contains the remains of some 65 people.

It is worth mentioning that regime security services found the mass grave based on information obtained during investigations with fighters of opposition factions, those who settled their security situation with Syrian regime.
