Turkish forces renew rocket attacks on areas held by Kurdish forces in rural Aleppo, targeting perimeter of camp hosting Afrin refugees

Aleppo Governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR sources report that Turkish forces renewed rocket attacks on areas held by Kurdish forces in northern countryside of Aleppo, where several rocket-propelled grenades fell, on Monday afternoon, on areas near the camp “Al-Awda”, which hosts displaced people from Afrin in the village of Ziyara of Shirawa district. No casualties were reported to date.

Yesterday, the Syrian Observatory reported that Turkish-backed factions carried out artillery shelling, targeting the villages of Shara area, and areas of Al-Shahba’a, Tal Rifaat, Sheikh Hilal, Sheikh Issa, Maranaz, Meng, Malikya, Shwargha, Shawargha castle and Soghanka in northern Aleppo countryside.
