Regime forces renew intensive ground shelling on rural Aleppo and Idlib

SOHR sources report that intensive rocket fire continued on areas in al-Atareb, Dara Izza, west of Aleppo, Kafr Nabl, and Hass and near Al-Dana, in addition to the city of Jisr al-Shughour and the town of Bdama. While Russian jets continued airstrikes on areas near Dara Izza and Al-Atareb in western rural Aleppo countryside.

The Syrian Observatory documented the death of a civilian as a result of ground bombardment carried out by regime forces yesterday evening on al-Atareb in western rural Aleppo.

Observatory sources reported during the past hours that regime forces carried out a rocket attack with dozens of shells on areas in western countryside of Idlib and the frontlines of rural Latakia, targeting the perimeter of the Turkish post in Eshtabraq, Jisr al-Shughour city, Mara’and, Al-Najiyeh, Bdama, Al-Baranas and Salet Al-Zuhour in rural Idlib, and areas in Al-Ghab plain in northwest countryside of Hama.

Russian jets targeted areas in Jabal al-Arbaeen and Ariha, south of Idlib city.

Moreover, air defenses in rural Latakia repelled last night targets believed to be the same missiles fired on the Russian base.

Meanwhile, Turkish artillery shelled regime forces positions in the town of Salma in northern countryside of Latakia. Turkish artillery also shelled regime forces gatherings in Saraqeb and Al-Nayrab frontlines in rural Idlib.
