As Turkish shelling targets regime positions in rural Idlib, the factions shell rural Latakia and the air defenses in the coast thwart them

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of a man and his wife today in airstrikes carried out by Russian warplanes on Maarrat al-Na’asan town in Idlib countryside.

While the factions targeted the regime forces using four high-explosive missiles in Latakia countryside near the Russian base of “Hmeimim”, where air force defenses thwarted several targets but no information about casualties so far.

This comes in the light of tension in the Russian – Turkish relations over Idlib.

In the meantime, Turkish forces and factions shelled the regime forces in Saraqib city and Neirab in rural Idlib.

Meanwhile, warplanes continue to bomb the “de-escalation” area targeting several places in Mahmbel town, Qminas, and areas on the “M4” road in rural Idlib, in addition to areas in the western countryside of Aleppo.

This brings the number of raids carried out by the Russian warplanes to 112, targeting the vicinity of Atareb, Kafrnuran, outskirts of Darat Azza, vicinity of Bala, outskirts of al-Sahara, and Taqad in the western countryside of Aleppo, and Mantaf, Deir Sunbul, outskirts Maarrat al-Na’asan, and al-Rakaya in Idlib countryside.

The number of airstrikes carried out by regime’s warplanes also increased to 23, targeting places in Aleppo countryside and Idlib.

The Syrian Observatory monitored missile shelling carried out by the Turkish forces this morning targeted areas controlled by the regime forces west of Aleppo city. No information about casualties.
