Turkish forces shell regime positions in rural Aleppo, amid intensive aerial and ground bombardment on the “de-escalation” zone

Regime ground forces shelled the villages of Ibzimu, Kafr Nouran Atarib and Darat Izza. Turkish forces in Darat Izza and Al-Tawamah responded the regime shelling with targeting positions in the western countryside of Aleppo.

On the other hand, regime forces fired several artillery shells on Kafr Nubl, Hass, Al-Naqir, Kafr Sajnah, Al-barah, Sheikh Damis, Sarmin and Qumaynas, but no information about casualties has been reported so far.

SOHR activists reported this evening that fierce clashes erupted between regime forces and loyalists on one hand, and opposition rebels and jihadis on the other, on Tal Al-Nar area in the southern countryside of Idlib. rebel factions also attacked regime positions in Madaya town in the same countryside.

Separately, Russian jets continue intensive bombardment on Idlib province bringing the number of today’s airstrikes to 123. The airstrikes pounded places in Kafr Nubl, Al-Bara, Ihsim, Binin, Al-Fatirah, Sarja, Ibbin, Juzif and other places in Jabal Al-Zawiya in the southern countryside of Idlib. Meanwhile, regime jets executed 26 airstrikes on areas in Jabal Al-Zawiya in the same countryside

SOHR activists have also documented the killing of a little girl in Russian aerial airstrikes on Juzif village in Jabal Al-Zawiya.
