Turkey’s reinforcement: New Turkish military column enters Syria heading towards Ishtabraq observation post west of Idlib

SOHR sources reported seeing a new Turkish military column of nearly 10 military vehicles crossing into the Syrian territory via Kharbat Al-Juz crossing on the border with Iskenderun region. The new column headed towards the Turkish observation post in Ishtabraq town in the western countryside of Idlib.

Yesterday, Observatory activists reported seeing a new Turkish military column of nearly 80 military vehicles crossing into the Syrian territory via Kafr Lusin border crossing, north of Idlib city. The new column headed towards the Turkish military posts in Idlib.

During the period between February 2 and today, SOHR activists monitored the entry of more than 2,700 trucks and military vehicles to the Syrian territory, including tanks, personnel carriers, armored vehicles, mobile bulletproof guard booths and military radars. Meanwhile the number of Turkish soldiers who were deployed during the same period in Idlib and Aleppo exceeded 7,400.
