Two schoolgirls and teacher killed in rocket attacks on school in Idlib city

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of two schoolgirls and a teacher as a result of cluster rocket attacks targeted a school in Idlib city. Several among teaching staff were also injured.

SOHR sources say that rebels and jihadist factions, backed by Turkish artillery fire, managed to capture the village of Ma’arat Alia, northwest of Saraqeb city after fierce battles with regime forces and loyalists.

The clashes left seven regime soldiers dead, three opposition fighters were also killed, two of whom were jihadists. Meanwhile, rebels and jihadist factions managed to capture this morning the electric facility in east of Al Nayrab town, after opposition factions managed to capture the town of Al-Nayrab yesterday on the M4 road.

Moreover, Russian and regime jets continue their bombardment on the perimeter of Idlib city, Sarmin city, the towns of Al-Nayrab, Qominas, Al-Mastuma, Mussibin, Ma’arat Alia and Jabal al-Zawiya areas in Idlib countryside, with an ongoing intensive artillery and rocket fire targeting those areas.
