Syrian regime jets target Turkish troops at Taftanaz military airport northeast of Idlib, and rocket attacks on Idilb leave four people dead

SOHR sources say that regime jets carried out several airstrikes targeting Taftanaz military airport, which is used by Turkish Forces as a military base, northeast of Idlib. No casualties were reported.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented more civilian fatalities as a result of rocket attacks on several schools in Idlib city.

The civilian death toll rose to four, including two teachers, a schoolgirl and a female teacher. Meanwhile, regime jets carried out several airstrikes targeting residential neighborhoods of Idlib city, injuring five civilians, including women and children.

The number of airstrikes carried out today by regime and Russian jets rose to more than 150 raids targeting areas in and around Idlib city, Sarmin city, the towns of Al-Nayrab, Qominas, Al-Mastumma, Taftanaz military airport, Mussaybin, Ma’arat Alia and Jabal al-Zawiya areas in Idlib countryside.

Shelling with dozens of rocket-propelled grenades hit various areas of Jabal al-Zawiya, Idlib city and surroundings and the frontlines in Al-Nayrab.
