Palastine Liberation Army officer injured in Qatana’s IED explosion in rural Damascus

Rif-Dimashq gouvernarate – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

Reliable source informed SOHR that the person who had been injured in Qatana’s IED explosion in Damascus countryside, was found to be an officer in the Palestine Liberation Army (PLA) after targgeting his car by an improvised explosive device in the area.

The Syrian Observatory just reported that a medium-intensity explosion rocked Qatana area in Damascus countryside, caused by detonating an improvised explosive device (IED) in a car in the area, injuring at least one person.

On February 17, the Syrian Observatory reported that an IED that had been placed under a car affiliated with the Republican Guard Forces, went off near their headquarters on the road between Saqba city and Hazza town.

The explosion killed one regime soldier and injured two others, it also burned the car completely. After the incident, members of regime’s security military services were deployed in the explosion site and blocked some side streets and raided all nearby houses.
