Turkish artillery paves the way for the factions to advance further into areas surrounding Saraqeb

Fierce clashes are still underway in areas in the eastern countryside of Idlib, between Turkish-backed factions and jihadi groups on one hand, and regime soldiers and loyalists on the other. Syrian Observatory sources report that the factions, backed by intensive artillery shelling, captured Dadikh and Kafr Batikh villages, amid ongoing fierce clashes in Jubas where regime forces showed desperate efforts in repelling the factions’ attack.

Accordingly, the number of areas recovered by the Turkish-backed factions rose to 11: (1) Al-Nayrab, (2) Maarrat Alya, (3) Saan, (4) Afes, (5) Al-Salihya, (6) Mujayzer, (7) Saraqeb, (8) Tarbanah, (9) Shabour, (10) Dadikh and (11) Kafr Batikh.

On the other hand, Regime forces managed to capture the following 58 towns and villages in the past three days: (1) Sheikh Damis, (2) Hantutin, (3) Rakaya, (4) Tal Al-Nar, (5) Kafr Sajna, (6) Sheikh Mustafa, (7) Naqir, (8) Satuh Al-Deir, (9) Arinbeh, (10) Um Sir, (11) Maarrat Al-Sin, (12) Jabbala, (13) Maarrat Mater, (14) Maar Zita, (15) Ba’rabu, (15) Arinbeh, (16) Maarrat Hurmah, (17) Basqala, (18) Hass, (19) Kafr Nubl, (20) Hazarin, (21) Kura, (22) Sahhab, (23) Deir Sunbul, (24) Tremla, (25) Al-Dar Al-Kaberah, (26) Jibbin, (27) Hassanah, (28) Al-Faqi’, (29) Karsa’a, (30) Al-Lubaydah, (31) Ftirah, (32) Malaja, (33) Al-Sahriayh, (34) Fterah, (35) Kafr Mus, (36) Fulayfel, (37) Sfuhen, (38) Kawkabah Al-Qasirah, (39) Kawkaba Al-Tawilah, (40) Um Nir, (41) Al-Sherkah, (42) Arima, (43) Kafr Oweid, (44) Shir Mghar, (45) Maydan Ghazal, (46) Shahrnaz, (47) Hurtah, (48) Al-Dayrunah, (49) Jern, (50) Rasha, (51) Shoulin, (52) Ankawi, (53) Qulaydin, (54) Hawija, (55) Hawwash, (56) Amiqah, (57) Jesr Bayt al-Ras, (58) Tanjarah and Al-Qahera.
