Turkish forces shell villages in rural “Tal Tamr amid new Turkish military builld up in the area

Syrian Observatory sources say that Turkish forces in the military post in Al-Daoudiyah village of Abu Rasin town fired several artillery shells targeting Um Al-Keif and Dardara villages and other areas in Tal Tamr countryside. SOHR activists reported seeing Turkish military mobilizations in Al-Daoudiyah and the area between Bab Al-Khir and Um Ishbah villages.

On February 27, SOHR sources reported that Turkish forces and their proxies shelled Um Keif village in the northern countryside of Tal Tamr with artillery. No casualties were reported about.

Observatory sources reported on February 22 that cautious calm prevailed frontlines in Tal Tamr town, north of Al-Hasakah, after fierce clashes between Turkish-backed factions and regime forces in Dardarah village. The fierce clashes which was accompanied by exchange of intensive fire between both parties followed an attack by the factions on regime positions in the area. There is confirmed information about casualties in the ranks of the two sides.
