Regime and Turkish forces exchange fire, while Russian airstrikes renew on Aleppo and Idlib

The Syrian Observatory has monitored continuous airstrikes carried out by Russian jets targeting places near Kafr Nooran and Al-Atareb in western Aleppo countryside, Sarmin, Saraqeb, Afis and several other villages in Saraqeb countryside. No casualties have been reported.

On the other hand, Turkish forces and regime have exchanged shelling on frontlines in the area of Saraqeb and countryside, east of Idlib, while Turkish drones have renewed their strikes targeting regime forces positions in Idlib countryside and Hama. Further casualities and material damage have been reported.

SOHR sources have reported earlier that intensive Turkish shelling continued on positions belonging to regime forces and loyalists in rural Saraqeb and other areas of Idlib countryside.

According to SOHR sources, the death toll of regime forces and allies has risen as a result of air and ground bombardment by Turkish forces.

The death toll of regime forces and loyalists has risen in the past 24 hours to 48, including 11 officers, and 14 members and leaders among Hezbollah, all have been killed by Turkish air and ground shelling on various locations in rural Aleppo and Idlib. The death toll is expected to rise as there are dozens of injured, some are seriously injured. Further fatalities have been reported. Turkish shelling has also destroyed at least 13 regime military vehicles.
