Intensive firepower paves the way for rebels and jihadis to launch new attack in Jabal Al-Zawiyah and Sahl Al-Ghab

SOHR activists say that fierce clashes are underway in Sahl Al-Ghab in the northern countryside of Hama and in Jabal Al-Zawiyah. The clashes, accompanied by intensive ground shelling, followed a new attack by opposition factions and jihadi groups on positions of regime forces and loyalists in Kafr Oweid and Al-Daqmaq. There are confirmed fatalities among both warring forces.

SOHR sources reported earlier this day that Russian jets carried out several airstrikes targeting places nearby Kafr Nouran and Al-Atareb in west Aleppo countryside, Sarmin, Saraqeb, Afes and several other villages in Saraqeb countryside. No casualties have been reported about.

On the other hand, Turkish and regime forces have exchanged fire on frontlines in Saraqeb and its countryside, east of Idlib. Meanwhile, Turkish drones renewed strikes on regime positions in Idlib countryside and Hama. More human and material losses have been reported about.
