Factions regain control of Kafr Aweed town after a counterattack and more than 200 airstrikes target “Putin-Erdogan” area

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored an attack ‎ this evening by the rebel and jihadi factions, targeted positions of the regime forces in Kafr Aweed town, where the factions were able to restore the town.

In the meantime, the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them controlled Om Nir and Kawkaba in the southern countryside of Idlib, and al-Sharika and Arima at Jabal Shashabo in the northern countryside of Hama, coincided with intensive land and air bombardment, also the warplanes bombarded the villages of Sahl al-Ghab and al-Sermaniyyeh.

In the same context, the number of raids carried out by Russian warplanes rose to 130, targeting areas in Jabal al-Zawiyah, Sahl al-Ghab, and Jabal Shashabo.

Also, the number of airstrikes carried out by the regime warplanes rose to 78, targeting areas in Idlib countryside and the northern countryside of Hama.

The Syrian Observatory documented the death of four civilians including a woman, in Russian airstrike targeted Arnaba village south of Idlib city.

The number of areas controlled by the regime forces over the past 72 hours has risen to 40 towns and villages.

Thus, the number of areas controlled by the regime forces in Idlib and Hama since the start of the military operation on the 24th of last month has increases to 141 villages and towns.
