Daraa: several unidentified bodies found and unknown gunmen assassinate regime soldier

Daraa governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources have reported that a soldier of regime’s 4th division have been killed today after being targeted by unidentified gunmen in front of his home in Daraa al-Balad.

Meanwhile, locals have found three unidentified bodies near Al-Muzayrip town in rural Daraa.

Moreover, unknown assailants have targeted with machine guns a military checkpoint belonging to regime’s state security, south of Jassim city in northern countryside of Daraa.

This brings the number of attacks and assassination attempts in various forms and methods by detonating IEDs, mines, booby-trapped vehicles and shootings from past June to date, to more than 323 attacks.

While the number of those who killed and died in the same period has risen to 212 persons, 43 of whom are civilians, including five women and four children, in addition to 109 members of regime forces, loyalists and collaborators with regime security services.

35 members of opposition factions were also killed, those who made “settlements and reconciliations” with the regime and became members of regime security services, including former leaders, and 16 members of Syrian militias affiliated to Lebanese “Hezbollah” and Iranian forces, in addition to six members of so-called “Fifth Corps” established by Russia.
