Turkish forces and loyal factions launch artillery shell targeting areas in Tal Tamr and Tal Abyad

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored today ‎an artillery shelling by the Turkish forces and their loyal factions, targeted Salibi village west of Tal Abyad city‎ in al-Raqqah countryside.

In the same context, the Turkish-backed factions launched mortar shells around Om al-Kief village north of Tal Tamr town ‎ in al-Hasakah countryside.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored on the 28th of February ‎2020 that the Turkish forces in the military post in Al-Daoudiyah village of Abu Rasin town fired several artillery shells targeting Um Al-Keif and Dardara villages and other areas in Tal Tamr countryside. SOHR activists reported seeing Turkish military mobilizations in Al-Daoudiyah and the area between Bab Al-Khir and Um Ishbah villages.

On February 27, SOHR sources reported that Turkish forces and their proxies shelled Um Keif village in the northern countryside of Tal Tamr with artillery. No casualties were reported about.

Tahrir al-Sham sends columns of elite forces to the surroundings of Saraqib ‎city as Russian military police announce their deployment there‎

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham sending this evening columns from of the elite forces “al-Asa’eb al-Hamraa” to the front areas on the outskirts of Saraqib city.

In the same context, the clashes are still taking place in the southern areas of Saraqib city in the villages of al-Tarnabeh, Jobas, and the western outskirts of the city.

It worth mentioning that Russia has announced the deployment of Russian military police forces in Saraqib.

Warplanes of the Russian “guarantor” commit a massacre in al-Fu’ah town and regime forces shell the Turkish point in Taftanaz airport and progress in Idlib countryside

Nine citizens were killed‎ and six others were injured in raids ‎ by Russian warplanes on al-Fu’ah town‎, also two citizens were killed in Russian airstrikes on a camp of the displaced people in the vicinity of Adwan village in Sahl al-Rouj west of Idlib city, rising the number of civilians ‎who have been killed today to 11.

The regime forces shelled the Turkish point in Taftanaz airbase, but no information about casualties so far.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored the regime forces advancing and controlling of Flifel village and al-Dar al-Kabira in the southern countryside of Idlib, with support from the Russian warplanes, after violent clashes against the factions and jihadi groups.

Turkish drones also continue to target positions and points of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them in the eastern countryside of Idlib, where they targeted vehicles of the regime forces in the vicinity of Saraqib but no information about the size of losses.

In the same context, clashes are still taking place in areas in Jobas and al-Trenbeh villages in the vicinity of Saraqib city from the southwestern side.

The number of strikes carried out by the Russian warplane rose to 76, mainly targeted Saraqib areas ‎and the southern countryside of Idlib, also the number of raids by regime warplanes increased to 117.
