Turkish forces resume bombarding regime positions, while regime forces attempt to advance further northwest of Saraqeb

The Syrian Observatory has documented the death of a teacher injuries sustained during previous airstrikes on the city of Idlib. This brings the number of students and teaching staff killed in an airstrike on a school in Idlib a few days ago to more than ten.

Meanwhile, Turkish drones and artillery have resumed targeting regime forces positions in Saraqeb and countryside, east of the city of Idlib.

SOHR sources say that regime forces have carried out rocket attack on Sarmin, Qominas, Al-Nayrab, Afis, Al-Mastouma and Binnish, while Russian jets carried out raids after midnight and this morning on frontlines in countryside of Saraqeb and Sarmin.

On the other hand, clashes have renewed on Afis frontline in eastern countryside of Idlib, between opposition factions and jihadist groups on the one hand, and regime forces and loyalists on the other, in ongoing attempts by regim forces to recapture the village backed by air and ground support.

Yesterday, Russian jets carried out more than 81 airstrikes, targeting Sarmin, Binnish, Afis and other areas in Idlib countryside, and the town of Taqad and surroundings in Aleppo countryside. On Tuesday, regime jets carried out at least 27 raids.

The Syrian Observatory documented yesterday the killing of four Turkish soldiers and the injury of seven others, as a result of artillery shelling carried out by regime forces targeting their positions in Al-Tarnaba and Al-Mastouma camp in Idlib countryside.
