Villages and towns in the “de-escalation” zone come under fire just few minutes before new ceasefire comes into effect
Regime artillery and rocket launchers shelled the villages of Al-Ziyyarah, Qastun, Al-Sarmaniyah, Tal Waset, Al-Ankawi, Al-Duqmaq and Al-Mashyak in the north-western countryside of Hama.
Meanwhile, Turkish artillery shelled regime positions in Tranbeh, Saraqeb and al-Dwayr. Turkish drones also struck regime positions in the southern countryside of Idlib. No casualties have been reported yet.
Separately, fierce clashes and exchange of fire are taking place on frontlines of Saraqeb, Jabal Al-Zawiyah, Sahl Al-Ghab, and Al-Haddadah in rural Latakia, between regime forces and loyalists on one hand, and opposition factions and jihadis on the other.
On the other hand, Russian jets bombarded Sarmin town, the vicinity of Ariha and Jabal Al-Zawiyah in Idlib countryside, Al-Ziyarah and Al-Ankawi in Sahl Al-Ghab in the north-western countryside of Hama, bringing the number of today’s airstrikes to 86. The Russian airstrikes targeted the countryside of Saraqeb, Ariha, Maarrat Misrin and areas in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in Idlib countryside, and Sahl Al-Ghab in the north-western countryside of Hama.
For their part, regime jets executed eight raids today, targeting areas in Jabal Al-Zawiyah.
