Russian jets fly over Aleppo and Idlib as tense calm prevails in the “de-escalation” zone

SOHR sources reported seeing Russian jets fly over Idlib and Aleppo at noon.

“Two Russian jets flew over the western countryside of Aleppo and the north Idlib countryside without carrying out any strikes” the sources added.

Meanwhile, cautious calm has been prevailing the “de-escalation” zone, stretching from the north-eastern mountains of Lattakia, to the north-western suburbs of Aleppo city passing through both Hama and Idlib, since midnight of Friday. This calm was interrupted by clashes between regime forces and jihadi groups, in Al-Mashari’ area in Sahl Al-Ghab, north-west of Hama, with many in the ranks of both sides confirmed dead or wounded.
