This ongoing calm was interrupted by several regime shells which pounded places in Idlib, Hama and Latakia.

Separately, regime forces lifted dirt barricades near the junction in Kafrya village, which were put on Aleppo – Latakia international highway (M4) in 2012,  in preparation for running Turkey – Russia patrols and opening the highway towards Aleppo. Other barricades on the highway are being lift clearing the way towards Ain Al-Hur in Latakia countryside near the administrative border with Idlib.

Hours ago, SOHR activists said that regime forces fired several shells on Ishtabraq area in Jisr Al-Shughur countryside and Al-Sarmaniah area in Sahl Al-Ghab.

On the other hand, aerial operations have been suspended since Thursday evening. While Russian drones occasionally fly over the area.
