Airstrikes hit positions of Popular Mobilization militias near Iraq border, leaving 26 Iraqis dead

Syrian Observatory activists have confirmed that the number of Iraqi fighters in Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces, who were killed last night in airstrikes on their headquarters in Al-Hasyan area in Al-Bokamal countryside on Syria – Iraq border, rose to 26. Over 15 others sustained injuries.

Last night, SOHR activists documented the killing of 18 members of the Iranian-backed Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces who were killed in airstrikes on Al-Hasyan area in al-Bokamal area.

Observatory sources monitored bombardment by three unidentified aircraft which targeted Al-Imam Ali base and al-Hasyan area in al-Bokamal, near the border with Iraq, where military headquarters of the Iranian-backed militias are located.
