Mystery surrounds the killing of a doctor in Qardaha

The phenomenon of proliferation of arms among militiamen who are loyal to the Syrian regime, Russia or Iran, is spreading, putting the lives of civilians at risk. Danger escalates in the Syrian coast line’s provinces in particular, as they are under the ruling class influence and consider the human reservoir of the regime’s ally forces.

In this context, a doctor was found dead yesterday in suspicious circumstances, on the road to Jawbat Burghal near Al-Arizah junction in latakia countryside.

It is noteworthy that the doctor is the head of radiography department in Al-Qardaha hospital. Al-Qardaha is the heartland of the President Bashar al-Assad and it is dominated by cronies close to the ruling class.

On March 11, local people found the body of a regime soldier lying under a bridge in Al-Sakhour neighborhood in regime-controlled city of Aleppo. Syrian regime forces and security services were on alert in the area.

On the other hand, regime forces locked down the area completely, taking several people to the police station, amid tightened security procedures on passers-by in the neighborhood.

Iranian-backed militias, Lebanese Hezbollah and regime ally forces are deployed in regime-controlled areas in the regime-held city of Aleppo.
