Two Turkish soldiers among five killed in car-bomb explosion in Tal Half town  

Hasaka Governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources say that the total death toll of Tal Half’s car-bomb explosion in Ras al-Ain countryside “Sari Kani” has risen to five, three fighters of Turkish-backed factions, and two Turkish soldiers. Eight members were also injured, including Turkish soldiers. The explosion caused extensive damage in the surrounding area.

SOHR sources said earlier that a loud explosion was heard in Ras Al-Ain countryside, north of Al-Hasakah. The explosion was caused by a car-bomb targeting a military checkpoint affiliated with Turkish-backed National Army factions, in Tal Halaf town in Ras Al-Ain countryside. The attack resulted in the killing of two fighters of Turkish-backed factions, while eight others sustained injuries.

On January 17, activists told SOHR that a car-bomb exploded near the headquarters of the Turkish-backed “Al-Rahman Corps” in Hawysh Al-Nasser village in Ras Al-Ain countryside. No casualties were reported
