Russian and Turkish forces run new joint patrol in rural Ain Al-Arab (Kobani)
Syrian Observatory activists say that Russian and Turkish forces started running a new joint patrol in the countryside of Ain Al-Arab city (Kobani). The patrol started from Ashma village in the western countryside of Kobani.
On March 5, Observatory sources reported that Russian and Turkish forces conducted a new joint patrol in the countryside of Ain Al-Arab city (Kobani). The patrol started from Gharib village on the border with Turkey and toured the villages of Bouztib, Qarrah, Mough, Jishan, Kharabisan Foqani, Kharabisan Tahtani and Bughaydik, near Syria – Turkey border. After that, the patrol, which was escorted by two Russian helicopters, returned to the starting point.
