Regime forces shell rural Latakia as seventh day of new ceasefire comes to an end
The Syrian Observatory has monitored an artillery shelling by regime forces positions in Al- Jub Al- Ahmar, targeting Kabana frontlines in Latakia countryside, as well as the roads leading to the frontline in the same countryside. No casualties have been reported.
Calm has been prevailing in the frontlines and sectors of Idlib, Aleppo, Hama and Latakia, during the seventh day of the new ceasefire.
SOHR sources said hours ago that a few shells targeted the frontlines. SOHR sources also said that regime forces and loyalists made advances in southern Idlib countryside, where they were able to control and set up points in all areas of Ma’arat Mokhis and Al-Bureij near Kafranbel without fighting with opposition factions.
