Mystery surrounds the kidnapping of a child in rural Daraa governorate

Daraa governorate – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

Mystery still surrounds the child kidnapped five days ago last Tuesday while returning home from school. The child in the third grade of primary school was abducted by unknown assailants in a van from Al-Taybah town in eastern rural Daraa.

This brings the number of attacks and assassination attempts in various forms and methods by detonating IEDs, mines, booby-trapped vehicles and shootings from past June to date, to more than 356 attacks.

While the number of those who killed and died in the same period has risen to 220 persons, 45 of whom are civilians, including five women and four children, in addition to 114 members of regime forces, loyalists and collaborators with regime security services.

39 members of opposition factions were also killed, those who made “settlements and reconciliations” with the regime and became members of regime security services, including former leaders, and 16 members of Syrian militias affiliated to Lebanese “Hezbollah” and Iranian forces, in addition to six members of so-called “Fifth Corps” established by Russia.
