Rocket attack targets Latakia countryside hours before launching first Russian – Turkish joint patrol on M4

SOHR have reported hearing explosions in Latakia countryside this evening, caused by a rocket attack by opposition factions in Latakia countryside, targeting the vicinity of Al-Qardaha, the hometown of the head of Syrian regime.

Meanwhile, air defenses in Latakia countryside intercepted unknown targets. It is not known whether they were drones or intercepting missiles that fell around the Russian base of “Hmeimim.”

It is worth mentioning that in a few hours Russian-Turkish joint patrols will be conducted on Aleppo-Latakia road known as M4.
