Pro-Ankara factions arrest ten civilians for unknown reasons in Ras Al-Ain (Sere Kaniye)

Turkish-backed factions, operating under the banner of  “Peace Spring” operation room, are still continuing their violations against civilians in Turkish-controlled areas in north-east Syria. Reliable source have informed the Syrian Observatory that the factions arrested more than ten civilians in Ras Al-Ain city and villages in its countryside over the past few hours and days. The arrested people were taken to unknown destination and no information has been reported yet about the reasons behind arresting these people, who had remained in their areas and refused to flee their houses.

Three days ago, SOHR sources reported that Turkish-backed factions committed violations similar to those committed by regime’s army, which include looting houses and installations in “Peace Spring” areas

SOHR sources said that the homes of civilians were looted in the villages of Bab al-Khair and Jan Tamer in Ras al-Ain countryside. The faction’s members also stole agricultural equipment, water tanks and other sophisticated equipment of great material value.

According to Observatory sources, Turkish-factions are selling the stolen goods in the village of Merix.

On March 12, SOHR sources reported that Turkish-backed factions stole industrial facilities from Umm Ishba village in Ras al-Ain countryside. According to Observatory sources, Turkish-backed factions dismantled an ice-cream factory, an automated bakery, a cotton gin, a car wash and shops in the village, where they were completely looted with doors, windows and copper wires.
