Factions thwart regime’s attempt to infiltrate rural Idlib areas killing and injuring regime members

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented today the death of a member of the regime forces and the injury of others, in clashes in the southern countryside of Idlib.

In the same context, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored several violations carried out by the regime forces and factions in Idlib countryside, where the factions were able to thwart an infiltration attempt by the regime forces al-Ftirah town area in the southern countryside of Idlib, in conjunction with intense artillery shelling by the regime forces.

While the factions shelled gathering of the regime forces in Hazarin and Kafr Nubl area south of Idlib, but no information about human losses.

Hours earlier, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights had observed the regime forces launching rocket shells targeting areas in al-Ftirah town in the southern countryside of Idlib.

Yesterday, the Syrian Observatory monitored that military reinforcement of regime forces and Iranian militias arrived at the frontlines of Idlib countryside. Regime forces have brought in columns to the frontlines of Jabal al-Zawiya and southern Idlib countryside, while Iranian-backed militias and Lebanese Hezbollah have moved their forces from Aleppo countryside to Saraqeb frontline.
