Turkish forces and proxy factions shell villages in Tal Abyad countryside 

The Syrian Observatory has monitored artillery shelling by Turkish forces and proxy factions this evening, targeting the villages of Arida and Salib in Tal Abyad countryside. No casualties have been reported to date.

On March 16, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored artillery shelling by Turkish forces and proxy factions targeting the village of Qza’ali in Tal Abyad countryside.

Furthermore, Turkish-backed factions launched an attack on the villages of Um al-Kif and Taweela in northern countryside of Tal Tamer.

In the meantime, Tal Tamer Military Council was able to repel the attack by Turkish-backed factions.

Turkish forces shelled the villages of Um al-Kef and Taweela with heavy artillery, injuring a civilian and a regime soldier.

On March 15, Turkish forces and proxy factions shelled with heavy artillery the villages of Kur Hassan and Salib in Tal Abyad countryside in northern Raqqa province. No casualties were reported.
