Regime forces bring in more military reinforcement to north of Raqqa

SOHR sources say that a military column belonging to regime forces arrived in Ain Issa city, consisting of nearly 150 vehicles carrying heavy weapons and ten tanks, in addition to nearly 700 soldiers of the regime forces.

On March 5, SOHR sources reported that some 6,000 fighters of Turkish-backed factions were transferred to Tal Abyad countryside, north of al-Raqqah to fight there.

Observatory sources added that the fighters were living in poor conditions as tens of the factions looted and stole those areas.

On the 24th of February 2020, reliable sources told the Syrian Observatory that Syrian regime forces which stationed near Ayn Issa town set up their artilleries pointing them towards the areas held by Turkish Forces and proxy factions, north of Ayn Issa in rural al-Raqqah.

On February 23, SOHR sources reported that military reinforcement of regime forces arrived in the village of Saba Jafar in Ain Issa countryside, north of Raqqa, where a column of 120 vehicles, including dozens of tanks arrived.
