Turkish forces and proxy factions shell Kurdish positions north of Aleppo and shelling targets Afrin, leaving several people injured

The Syrian Observatory has monitored this evening intensive artillery shelling by Turkish forces and proxy factions, targeting the outskirts of Tal Rifa’at and the village of Shughanki and surroundings in areas controlled by Kurdish forces, north of Aleppo. No casualties have been reported to date.

In the meantime, Kurdish forces have shelled Afrin town with rocket-propelled grenades, leaving several people injured.

On March 18, SOHR sources reported that violent clashes erupted between Turkish-backed factions and Kurdish forces on south-western frontlines of Marea.
