Ceasefire violations: Regime forces shell a village in southern Idlib

Syrian Observatory sources say that regime forces fired several rockets on Al-Ftera village in Jabal Al-Zawiyah, south of Idlib, violating the ceasefire imposed in the “de-escalation zone” in its 15th day.

Observatory activists reported early this morning that tense calm was prevailing in the area of “Putin – Erdogan” as the new ceasefire enters its 15th consecutive day.

SOHR sources documented several violations in the “de-escalation zone” yesterday represented by artillery shelling by regime forces, stationed in rural Latakia, targeting Al-Najiya town in western Idlib.

Meanwhile, Turkish forces shelled regime positions in south Idlib countryside.

Earlier that morning, regime forces shelled Al-Najiya town while Turkish troops were present there. No casualties were reported.

SOHR sources reported this morning that clashes erupted on frontlines near Al-Bara town in Jabal al-Zawiya, between regime forces and jihadi groups.
