Turkish-backed factions continue their violations, repressing Arabs in Rashda Hamra area

Turkish-backed factions continue stealing facilities and clamping down on civilians in “Peace Spring” areas.

SOHR sources have reported that these factions stole diesel engines used for extracting water from wells in the villages of Knihar, Drako and Al-Said, which are a group of villages known as “Rashda Hamra” in Tal Tamer countryside.

Tools and equipment have been also looted from agricultural projects in the area. Violations included illegal taxation, repressing civilians and accusing them of belonging to Kurdish parties, while these villages are inhabited by Arabs tribes “Sharbiyeens”, as well as prohibiting photography in the area.

On March 18, SOHR sources said that Turkish-backed factions looted public facilities and stations used for pumping and extracting water in Um Ushbeh village in rural Al-Hasakeh. Turkish-backed factions have been dismantling since yesterday diesel engines, water extraction pumps and submersible water pumps through cranes and were transported to the warehouses in the city of Ras al-Ain “Sari Kani” where the loots are kept.

On March 13, SOHR sources reported that the homes of civilians looted in the villages of Bab al-Khair and Jan Tamer in Ras al-Ain countryside. The factions’ members also stole agricultural equipment, water tanks and other sophisticated equipment of great material value.

According to Observatory sources, Turkish-factions are selling the stolen goods in the village of Merix.

On March 12, SOHR sources reported that Turkish-backed factions stole industrial facilities from Umm Ushba village in Ras al-Ain countryside.
