Regime forces and opposition factions trade fire in Jabal Al-Zawiyah and Saraqeb
Syrian Observatory activists have reported that regime forces fired several rockets in the early hours of Tuesday morning targeting Al-Bara, Afes and Kafr Oweid, south of Idlib. The shelling comes as the new ceasefire in the “de-escalation zone” enters its 19th day.
Opposition factions responded to the regime rocket shelling by firing several rockets on regime positions in Saraqeb and Kafr Nubl. Meanwhile, Russian reconnaissance drones are still flying over Jabal Al-Zawiyah area in the south Idlib countryside.
On the other hand, the factions destroyed a regime military bulldozer after targeting it with a rocket while it was erecting soil barriers on frontlines in Saraqeb, east of Idlib.
