“Al-Majd Corps” attacks a village and clashes with residents
SOHR activists say that clashes erupted today between residents of Al-Sukkaria village in rural Tal Abyad and the infamous “Al-Majd Corps”, while members of “Al-Majd Corps” were trying to steal a flock of sheep inside the village. This led to violent clashes in which eight people were injured.
In the meantime, SOHR sources have reported that a military column of “Ahrar al-Sharqiya” faction is preparing to attack the positions of “Al-Majd Corps”.
On March 22, SOHR sources reported that members of Turkish-backed “Al-Majd Corps” faction stole homes and public property from towns in western Aleppo countryside.
The Syrian Observatory has obtained a video footage showing a member of “Al-Majd Corps” transporting stolen goods from the town of Al-Abzamo in western Aleppo countryside.
“Al-Majd Corps” faction led by defected Major Yasser Abdul Rahim since October 2018 and he was a member of the Astana delegation.
