Regime confirms three Coronavirus cases in Al-Dwayer quarantine center and spread of pandemic looms ever closer

Regime’s Ministry of Health has reported that three new cases have tested positive for Coronavirus. The three infected cases are from quarantine centers in Al-Dwayer.

It is worth mentioning that the quarantine center in Al-Dwayer is housing dozens of citizens, where some of the suspected of being infected were transferred to the Damascus International Airport Hotel, which would increase the chance of spreading the virus and failure to manage quarantine centers in regime-controlled areas.

On March 23, SOHR sources reported that a coronavirus infected man managed to escape a quarantine center in Latakia.

Regime said that first coronavirus case was a female came from Lebanon by road after returning from a European country.

According to Observatory sources in Damascus, Homs, Latakia and Tartus, the number of cases that have been quarantined as a result of the outbreak of the virus (COVID-19) has risen to 128 cases, 56 were discharged from quarantine after the tests’ results were negative. 72 cases are still in quarantine awaiting the results of the tests, according to medical sources, a nurse has died of infection, but regime security authorities demanded complete secrecy.
