Over 1,600 Turkish military vehicles enter “Putin-Erdogan” area since new ceasefire came into effect

SOHR sources say that a Turkish military column entered Syria today via Kafr Losin crossing, north of Idlib, heading towards “Putin-Erdoğan” area, consisting of 25 vehicles including logistical equipment, excavators and bulldozers.

The number of military vehicles entered Syrian territory since the start of the new ceasefire has reached 1,610 in addition to thousands of Turkish soldiers.

From February 2 to date, the number of Trucks and military vehicles that arrived in “de-escalation zone” rose to more than 5,010 Turkish trucks and military vehicles arrived in Syrian territory, carrying tanks, personnel carriers, armored vehicles and mobile bulletproof guard booths and military radars. While some 9,900 Turkish soldiers deployed in Idlib and Aleppo during this period.
