Tense calm prevails in the “de-escalation zone” as the new ceasefire enters its 21st day

Syrian Observatory activists have reported that tense calm is prevailing throughout the area of “Putin – Erdogan” as the new ceasefire enters its 21st consecutive day. Meanwhile, aerial bombardment has been suspended completely.

Yesterday, Observatory sources reported that regime forces fired several artillery shells targeting the towns of Deir Sunbul and Benin in Jabal al-Zawiya in Idlib countryside, the outskirts of Kafr Amma village in western Aleppo countryside, and Al-Tufahiya village in north latakia countryside.

SOHR sources monitored earlier that day exchanging of fire with heavy machine guns, between regime forces and loyalists on one side, opposition factions and jihadist groups on the other, on the frontlines of al-Fatira and Kansafra in Jabal al-Zawiya.
