Turkish forces re-pump drinking water from “Aluk” water station
SOHR sources have reported that drinking water was re-pumped today from “Aluk” station in rural Ras al-Ain, five days after being cut off.
On March 22, SOHR sources confirmed that Turkish forces, stationed in Allouk water purification station in Ras Al-Ain countryside (Sere Kaniye), cut off again drinking water which supplies Al-Hasakah city and surrounding areas in countryside, a few days after being re-pumped.
On March 6, SOHR sources reported that drinking water was re-pumped again, supplying Al-Hasakah city and areas in its countryside, 12 days after being cut off by Turkish forces stationed in Allouk water purification station in Ras Al-Ain (Sere Kaniye).
This development came after the “Autonomous Administration” approved to provide Al-Mabroukah power plant, which supplies the areas of Tal Abyad in the north of Al-Raqqah and Ras Al-Ain in the north of Al-Hasakah, with larger amount of electricity.
