Azaz’s Police arrests two members of Turkish-backed factions for drug abuse

Aleppo Governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources say that the police station in Azaz seized large quantities of drugs and arrested several members of a gang accused of trafficking and abusing drugs.

According to Syrian Observatory sources, commanders and members of Turkish-backed “Al-Fateh” brigade were involved in the crime of trafficking in narcotic pills. Two members were arrested by police and were transferred to the military court.

On March 25, SOHR sources said that members of military police arrested five members of a child kidnapping gang in the area of Afrin, while managed to free six children in one of the detention places.

On March 24, SOHR activists reported that members of “Al-Jabha Al-Shamiya” and “Ahrar al-Sharqiya” factions arrested members of the “Free Police” in Afrin city, for insulting the “Free Army”. No further details were reported.
