Daraa’s security chaos: Unidentified gunmen assassinate two civilians in two separate attacks

Daraa governorate – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

The Syrian Observatory has monitored two assassination attempts in rural Daraa.  A civilian was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Jassim city.

Similarly, the Syrian Observatory has documented the death of a civilian in the town of Hiit after being shot by unidentified gunmen in the town center.

This brings the number of attacks and assassination attempts in various forms and methods by detonating IEDs, mines, booby-trapped vehicles and shootings from past June to date, to more than 383 attacks.

While the number of those who killed and died in the same period has risen to 228 persons, 49 of whom are civilians, including five women and four children, in addition to 118 regime soldiers, loyalists and collaborators with regime security services.

41 members of opposition factions were also killed, those who made “settlements and reconciliations” with the regime and became members of regime security services, including former leaders, and 17 members of Syrian militias affiliated to Lebanese “Hezbollah” and Iranian forces, in addition to six members of so-called “Fifth Corps” established by Russia.
