Russian and Turkish forces run joint patrol in rural Ain Al-Arab (Kobani) for the first time in April

Syrian Observatory sources have confirmed that Russian and Turkish forces conducted a new joint patrol in east Euphrates region. The patrol started from Ashmah village in the countryside of Ain Al-Arab city (Kobani) and toured villages west of the city.

This is the first Russian-Turkish joint patrol to be conducted in the area in April.

On April 2, SOHR sources reported that Russian and Turkish forces conducted a new joint patrol in Al-Darbasiyah countryside. According to SOHR sources, a patrol of six Turkish vehicles and six other Russian ones started from Sherik border crossing on Turkey border, west of Al-Darbasiyah, and toured the villages of Dalik, Malak, Zahr Al-Arab, Kasra, Salam Alik, Qunaytara and Qurmaniyah. As the joint patrol has accomplished, the Turkish vehicles continued their way to the Turkish territories, while the Russian vehicles returned to Al-Qamishly.
